On Thursday, October 20th, members of the PrairieViewEagles Boys’ Softball team were recognized by the KSD 140 Board of Education for their SWIC Tournament Championship win. #KirbyONE40

It’s great to see some traditions carry on. 30 years ago I participated as a student and today I was invited back. Helen Keller Elementary School had a gorgeous Fall day for its annual Pumpkin Chase and Ghostbuster Run. I’m already looking forwarded to next year! #KirbyONE40

Today we honor those who have selflessly served our country. Among seeing the assemblies and other activities and lessons our students participated in, my favorite part of the day was asking our students about their special guests. They were knowledgeable and proud! #KirbyONE40

Our fourth grade students are exploring why the size of the pupil adjusts in the dark. They noticed how the picture gets sharper on the index cards as the pupil gets smaller. This explains why nocturnal animals can see in the dark. #KirbyONE40 #McAuliffeProud

Students at Millennium and BannesBobcats put on performances today for their peers. I was fortunate to be able to stop by both and see amazing talent. Kudos to both 1st year music teachers!!!! Job well done. #KirbyONE40
