I’m trying to maintain positive for my kid, but I’m out of happy lately man. For 10+ months we’ve been stuck at home with no idea when it’ll end, we’re bored, he’s bored, I’m out of ideas, we can only go on so many drives or trips to a grocery store.

Mind you I know this all sucks for literally everyone, but fuck I just want to go back to work & let my kid back in school to see other kids. This shit sucks. I appreciate being a sahm and getting this time with him bc I never got that before as I was always working 2-3 jobs...

But I wish I could have gotten the experience to be a sahm when it was a choice. Not when I’m forced to quit work and question income. Being a sahm would be so much nicer when you could go to the park and go on play dates. Not sit at home 24/7.

Also holy fuck what is going on with the US rn. I literally took a nap yesterday and woke up and shit was nuts. I am like not even phased by all the uproar and crazy shit going on anymore.... what a fuckin world we live in. Makes me scared for my kid.
