I am so incredibly grateful for the editors and authors of Critical Theories for School Psychology and Counseling. Every single program should be embedding these chapters in syllabi and instruction. routledge.com/Critical-Theor…

During our first phases of COVID, calling in sick felt like the responsible thing to do. Am I the only one finding that it is back to feeling like something to apologize for?

One thing I dislike about supervising grad students is missing them when they move on. I like/love mostly everything else. Consider becoming a supervisor!

I really want to see some memes of #scienceofreading people listening to/celebrating #soldastory. I haven’t even listened yet but I’m betting there’s some major celebration going on

Here’s hoping we reconsider future convention venues. Like, immediately. Idk if this is something delegates get to influence, but one can hope. Public apology is literally the LEAST you can do, and still not done. #hyattsowhite

Three positive things today: 1) I observed the Reading Corps intervention Word Construction and it’s AWESOME 2) I went to a birthday party for a prac student that was instigated by an elementary student 3) I’m at a softball game and the mostly middle school kids are joyful.

The worst my brain ever works is when it’s the end of the school year and people ask me anything about my summer availability. I. Do. Not. Know.
