A group of MPs is trying to stop the assisted dying bill for now - demanding a review and public consultation first. One of them - Labour MP Anna Dixon - tells #R4Today it's vital for MPs to understand the legal and social impact.

Decisions of such societal importance as assisted dying do not come along often. I want to make sure that the decision made is based on a thorough analysis of the implications. I am calling for an in-depth independent review before this is voted on in Parliament.
