The school received some wonderful news today. Former Head Teacher, David C. Dempster, has been awarded an MBE in the King’s New Years Honours List 2025. This is for services to Education in Scotland. A message from David to the community is attached.

Further swimming succes. Four BHS swimmers attended the Scottish Schools Finals. Darragh Oldham, Naomi Cochran, Arthur Miller and Maddie Hoole competed against the top swimmers across Scotland in their age groups and we saw some fantastic swims from all of them.
