My one problem with Star Wars is that they make planets feel like towns. If I ever got the chance to write a Sci Fi world I would work hard to make each world feel like a world with many major locations, landing ports, and multiple cultures.

You know before my original main account got the axe, I remember I was following an indie Sci Fi TTRPG, I think the ships were called torch ships or something. I remember being really impressed with it's rules for trying to land this massive ships that weren't meant to be landed.
