As an adjunct faculty myself, I’ve seen fellow precarious colleagues all around me disciplined in various ways for supporting Palestine on top of facing a vanishing job market.

I hope more senior scholars can show solidarity with their junior colleagues.

Angered at Hunter College’s decision to fire adjunct faculty and translator Lisa Hofmann-Kuroda after a student reported her pro-Palestine tweets.

Joining others in signing and echoing the call to reinstate her and others like Danny Shaw persecuted for supporting Palestine!

Shame on Hunter College for firing Professor Lisa Hofmann-Kuroda for expressing solidarity Palestine. This retaliatory act deprives CUNY students of diverse perspectives and creates an unsafe workplace for faculty and staff. #reinstate
