this is not for for alia at all but rani as a character was so annoying. she found faults in everyone else’s behaviour but never wanted to change any of her own shortcomings, only in the very end she apologised but I still feel rocky was too good for her.

of course piku. i was born and brought up in kolkata but i’ve never seen any bengali girl talk like alia did in this film. whereas deepika adopted the character of a bengali girl so beautifully that it almost reminded me of my bengali sister
