Livestock worrying is a serious issue for farmers with a devastating impact on those affected. This time of year fields are full of lambs we advise not entering fields containing livestock with your dog. A recent incident in Powys has resulted in three dead lambs and a dog shot.

Dyfed Powys Rural Crime team participating in a ground breaking research project designed to analyses the best way of recovering DNA from livestock that have been attacked by dogs. Police, Farmers vets, will be involved The research project is headed up by Dr Nick Dawnay Liverpool John Moores University
