Leaseholders pauperised

“Only 13 per cent of leaseholders in London feel that they are getting good value for money with their ground rent and service charges.”

Says it all Barclays Bank has intervened here.

Who will be the first lender to pull support? standard.co.uk/homesandproper…

This is why forfeiture must be abolished.

It permits everyday extortion of leaseholders.

Despite ministers saying we will get positive news on this soon, nothing came forward at Lords Committee stage.

Time really is running out. What’s happening Michael Gove Lee Rowley?

(1/3) Decentralization can only be measured taking into account multiple different layers of a blockchain system. I am very happy to share that we just released the alpha version of the tokenomics layer of EDI, see

Hmm.. It appears that the Mayoral candidates supported by each of Britain’s two largest political parties are equally willing to walk away from earlier promises made to advance the legal rights of leaseholders. Not a good look. ⁦Free Leaseholders⁩ standard.co.uk/news/politics/…

Because the regulators and MPs are owned by building industry. We need money and corruption out of UK politics. The 2 party political system must be replaced with independents. Reduce the number or MPs & replace the house of lords.

The winds of change are powerful on housing.

From renters reform to ending leasehold, Westminster is failing.

Vested interests are being put before pro-growth, pro-people policies.

Without radical change, the eventual blowback from voters will be devastating.

This is a sound policy and one that Barry Gardiner tried to get into the Tory Leasehold Bill.

It is actually in the 2002 Act but the Conservatives are refusing to enact it.

But why is Sadiq Khan not being asked about his failure to deliver his commonhold manifesto pledge?

Dear @WesStreeting,

The next government must be an evidence-based government. If you can show that a reform will improve patient care and save taxpayer money, then we’ll have your back. If not, we’ll oppose it. It’s quite simple. The era of ignoring expertise is over.

Agreed. You can buy $WMT from many exchanges without buying $ADA. World Mobile has plans for multi-chain too. So it would be good to get adoption & support from everyone who believes in the mission.

.Rishi Sunak is being cornerned. Robert Jenrick, who resigned from government over Rwanda, is now making noise on leasehold.

Jenrick is crystal clear: leasehold must be binned for flats, as well as houses. This is in line with the Conservative 2019 manifesto pledge.

.Rishi Sunak Michael Gove Lee Rowley The answer to the service charges scandal is to boost hiring and firing powers of leaseholders through enfranchisement and Right to Manage. Slash red tape NOW.

Consumers are the best regulators in any market. We want liberation, not regulation.
