Interesting quantitative data on the use of LLMs in publishing being presented by James Zou at #ISMB2024. It looks like 16–17% of text in both the manuscripts AND the peer reviews are written by LLMs!

Giving a talk this afternoon on what advances in AI mean for healthcare, for the Annual Scientific Meeting of AOA. The theme for the plenary session is “making data the solution”. My take is “don’t make it the problem”; start from clinical needs rather than the technology.
