Building a wetland is very detailed work & each section is engineered to respond to its location. E.g. on the left, root wads will resist fast flowing water in a flood, but the opposite bank won't have to deal with the same amount of force, so we used a different material there.

Downtown Toronto fishy condos getting occupied! Love it! More fish condos (wetlands) coming up in the next couple of years. It is amazing to see this transformation. Proud to be part of this amazing project!

Look at all the recently hatched minnow fry spotted in the West Habitat Cove in the Port Lands! We built this cove to provide hospitable habitat for aquatic life, so seeing it function as a nursery is very good news!
