Congress passed the law. The Supreme Court upheld it 9–0. If ByteDance doesn’t divest, TikTok must be banned. Failing to act is a gift to the CCP.

I think it’s very smart that & not at all ridiculous that NYC has decided to so unevenly enforce their own rules (ie, you have to pay to use public transit) that now all people with strollers or wheelchairs have to wait several minutes to use every single subway exit

There are a lot of wild things to come out of this short interview with Cuomo, but one that stood out to me is that he confessed that he hasn’t lived in New York City since he was 32 years old. He is 67 years old now. nytimes.com/2025/06/03/nyr…

IM SORRY MY GENERATION THINKS THEY NEED HALF A MILL A YEAR TO BE SUCCESSFUL ☠️ I would be happy for ever with 100k or 250k with a husband. Like that’s the max I would ever dream of

Progressive commentator Elie Mystal is one of the most uninformed people in media. Here he implies that writers at reason (which is libertarian, not conservative) don't care about wrongly detained immigrants. That's absolutely false. In fact, the Reason writer he cites here,

Jaw-dropping gender split among young Koreans in the presidential exit poll. Two conservative/centre-right candidates got 74% of the vote among 20-something men, with centre-left winner Lee Jae-Myung in a distant third. He got 58% of the vote among women of the same age.

Yes, many people are saying this — major homebuilders are mixed-to-hostile on land use reform because (by definition) the existing players are comfortable with the existing system and they fear new entrants and asymmetrical plays.

There is zero chance that Putin and his inner circle anticipated a million casualties, billions of dollars worth of equipment destroyed, and years of trench warfare. It is time for him to cut his losses and stop spending fresh blood on a war that he can never truly win.

The best leftwing critique of abundance is that it ignores the way shifting healthcare costs away from employers could also lower barriers to construction and transit. After all, the London metro doesn’t need to pay operators an extra $600/wk for insurance. Instead we get this.

kinda telling that this admin can’t seem to find regular shmegular racists to fill their ranks and are hiring outright race iq, groyper message board weirdos.
