After taking a few days to reflect over the season, we see this season as a success. Even though we finished with some disappointing results and didn’t quite achieve what we would have liked, we still have a number of positives to take out of the season. 1/5

We have always made sure to progress the youth through to the Men’s teams and this year was the same, over the season we had 10 U18s play for us and 3/4 have gone on to be regular starters for us. We also had the target of making sure a number of reserve players 2/5

Were able to make the step up into the first team, which over the season we had 10 players who have gone on to make appearances, especially Liam Cox who was at the time our top scorer, who has gone on to be a mainstay in the firsts, Liam thoroughly deserved his chance. 3/5

So overall, we may have not got promoted, we may not have finished towards the top of the league, but there’s more to a reserve side than winning the league and we are proud to say we have achieved that this season! #Youthgetheirchance #progressionisanoption 4/5
