In the lead-up to #ICPPA2024 , WHO African Region country representatives and partners are convening a roundtable today to analyze the #NCDs burden in the African region.
They are sharing insights and innovations that have enhanced #NCDs care and strengthened health systems in the region.

World Health Organization (WHO) Rep Dr A Diallo at TB Day called for urgent collective & sustained action to combat the TB epidemic noting that Kenya is among 30 high TB/HIV burden countries & ranked 4th in Africa with an estimate 128,000 cases & 17,000 deaths in 2022. 31 % of cases were missed.
WHO with support from BMGF has developed an initiative to strengthen supply chain management of NTD medicines, with initial 8 countries in AFRO, including Kenya.
