I believe we are all God’s children I believe in science I believe in democracy I believe the wealthy should pay their fair share I believe everyone should have the opportunity to succeed Does that make me woke? I don’t know what that means, but it does make me a Democrat.

Oil and gas execs are hoarding their bonuses and profits on the backs of working people who have to drive to earn a living despite the price at the pump. Their greed is making our case to fight corporate monopolies, diversify our energy sources and transition from fossil fuels.

Republicans plan to raise taxes on half the American people if they win. 80% of the new taxes that Rick Scott would push would be on those making less than $70K. It’s that simple for working people: Republicans want to raise your taxes; Democrats want to raise your wages!

Congress must pass legislation that codifies Roe v. Wade as the law of the land in this country NOW. And if there aren’t 60 votes in the Senate to do it, and there are not, we must end the filibuster to pass it with 50 votes.
