With the change in Scottish Government guidance that comes into effect next week, we are delighted to say that we can have our monthly get-together in the bar after the talk, adoration and Benediction. See you on Wednesday 26th January!
We're already looking forward to next month's event. Fr Martin Eckersley of Archdiocese of St Andrews & Edinburgh will speak about prayer (specifically the Our Father). We'll get together over drinks afterwards to discuss the talk. Haven't been before? That's alright. All those aged 18-30 are welcome.
Several of us will be attending the 40 Days for Life Vigil in Glasgow tomorrow evening for the 6-7pm slot. If you’d like a ride, meet Fr Ryan and Fr Joe at the cathedral. Cars will leave at 5.45pm. Afterwards, we’ll return to Paisley for dinner.
The next Parish Quiz Night will take place on 𝗙𝗿𝗶 𝟭𝟳 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 from 7pm. Entry costs £2 per adult & £1 per child. Bring your own drinks & snacks. Max. 8 per team. Raffle prizes gratefully received. All are welcome! St John Ogilvie Primary School Paisley St Catherine's Primary School Mary Russell Primary Maryrussellsecondary
The next talk in our series will be given by Fr Bernard Mournian of St Columbkille’s Church Rutherglen this evening. All Catholics aged 18-30 are welcome to attend. After the talk and Benediction, we’ll get together over drinks.
We’re excited about our next talk in this series. Bishop Gilbert will speak about the Eucharist at St Mirin's Cathedral tomorrow. Afterwards, we’re having a BBQ; a great opportunity for young adults across the diocese to learn more about our faith and get to know each other.
We were delighted to welcome Bishop Hugh Gilbert to St Mirin's Cathedral tonight. He gave an inspiring talk on the manifold presence of Christ in the liturgy & especially in the Eucharist. Afterwards, he & Bishop Keenan joined us for a BBQ. It was great to see new faces tonight!
Thanks again to Fr Jamie McMorrin of Archdiocese of St Andrews & Edinburgh for travelling through and talking to our group about the role of the Holy Spirit, in the latest in our series on the Divine Praises. Next up: Bishop John, on the Blessed Virgin Mary, on 28th September; all welcome.
Thanks to Fr Paul Denney from Motherwell Diocese for his uplifting and insightful talk on St Joseph, the Most Chaste Spouse of Mary. Our final talk of the BLESSED BE GOD series will be given on 30th November.
