Iman Vellani on #MsMarvel review bombing: “It’s honestly quite laughable, I think change is scary for a lot of people. Having a show that surrounds a 16-year-old girl who’s Pakistani, Muslim, a superhero is scary for a lot of people. Hopefully people will fall in love with her.”

The recent #MsMarvel episode made me teary eyed not because of ‘representation’ but due to the glaring fact that Pakistani actors can do SO much and yet, have their potential limited by the monopoly which a few scriptwriters have over the local industry.
