It‘s global warming. The Great Salt Lake in Utah drying up, severe weather imperiling the electric grid in TX, wildfires scorching the drought-plagued West, “climate refugees” seeking higher land in Louisiana & tidal floods swamping the streets of Miami. Congress fiddles.

I want to make this clear: Doug Mastriano knew what he was doing when he defied law enforcement, crossed police barricades, and marched to the Capitol on January 6th. He took part in an attempted coup — and now he wants to be our Governor. We can't let him. He's too dangerous.

The authoritarians want our rights to be subject to the electoral process. If in the next gerrymandered election, the far right gains control in your state, you can kiss your freedoms goodbye. Is that how we want to live?

It’s up to you, voters. You really want this … representing you?

Looks like it’s time for someone else to run DOJ.

To indict a former President is risky business. To indict a former President who conspired to overthrow an American election isn’t.

Isn't Merrick Garland sort of acting politically by not acting politically. We know that Trump will manipulate that to political advantage. Another James Comey, another Robert Mueller - going by the book while Trump cooks democracy over the flames of the fucking book.

If the DOJ will never prosecute anyone if it might affect an election, they've basically given a get out of jail card to anyone who's willing to run for office.

Friendly advice: if you state a “fact” to someone from your news outlet of choice and they look at you with confusion, it’s quite possible what you just shared is propaganda tailored in an echo chamber & designed to make you impotently angry. Need to fact check that gem.

Remember back in the 1960s when Star Trek first told us to boldly go and Cap’n James T. had nothing but contempt for pompous, fascistic government types. Now is the time for boldly going AND acting like Kirk around our own crop of similar government types.

The right-wing says bans on assault weapons don’t work. That is demonstrably false. After the Assault Weapons Ban became law in the ’90s, gun massacres fell by 37%. When it lapsed, gun massacres rose by 183% It's time to reinstate a ban on assault weapons.

Frustrated: reaching truth of a situation gets increasingly difficult. Too many outlets seeking eyeballs conceal truth to draw attention. Ex. Micrometeorite strike on JWST. Telescope destroyed or seriously damaged they cry. Reality: little damage, JWST continues.

Whatever your politics, whatever you think about the outcome of the election, we as Americans must all agree on this; Donald Trump's conduct on Jan. 6 was a supreme violation of his oath of office & a complete dereliction of his duty to our nation. It is a stain on our history.
