people act like jamie lloyd shows sounding great is completely peripheral to his input as a director. he cut the lady's paying, he talked ALW into rockier evita reorchestrations—you can disbelieve it all you want, but this is a guy who fundamentally likes & understands musicals

This is disingenuous and misleading. This is the scenario: - You have £100 - I take £40 from you - Now you have £60 - I give you £20 back - You now have £80 Is it really unreasonable for you to demand the remaining £20 back over the next few years?! No, it’s not.

This has been debated for well over 3 years now. RPI is used for applying interest to our loans. RPI is also used to increase our bills every year. 2008 is used because it is when our pay began to erode due to public pay freeze... theguardian.com/society/2025/j…

Exactly this - doctors do not have a strong negotiating position because they are loved, its because they are needed. Just like train drivers. The same people that banged pans for you during COVID, are the same people calling you greedy, public support is nice but not mandatory.

Sick of being called ‘greedy’, Brown line is consultants, way below the zero line, the blue line is average workers, back above zero. Average pay has climbed at about equal rates over last 3 years but consultant pay still nearly 20% down graph (CPI). There’s full tax restoration,

Misleading, not all delivered by Lab and not real terms rise 28.9% = gross 23,24,25 pay 22.2% in 23-24 5.4% in 25 Of 22% in 23-24, we already -had 8.8% -were recommended further 8% cumulative 17.5% Lab only proactively put forward 4.05% in negs 2025 pay rec from DDRB 🧵 1/x

This graph is workers against CPI inflation (the governments favourite as it's always lower & doesn't include housing costs), blue line is the AVERAGE worker, note their pay has recovered. Consultants in brown. I'm seeing full INCOME TAX RESTORATION where's our pay restoration?

Honestly when a Labour health minister is repeatedly attacking doctors across all media outlets with a ferocity that makes the #Selfservsatives look tame you really do wonder what on earth has happened. #NHS #BMA Doctors ARE the union. That’s the point! #Abysmal

Zarah Sultana MP (@zarahsultana) 's Twitter Profile Photo

It’s not the BMA “undermining the trade union movement”. It’s a Labour Prime Minister, writing in the Murdoch press, urging junior doctors to break with their union leadership. That’s a direct attack on trade unionism. Solidarity with The BMA and junior doctors on strike.

While ministers accuse striking Drs of "holding the country to ransom" The Green Party will always stand with them. Great to meet constituents on The BMA picket in Brighton - their pay has fallen drastically in real terms since 2008. Govt must get round the table and resolve ✊

For clarity, Jonathan Ashworth’s suggestion of a multi year pay deal is exactly what Resident Doctors want. Doctors accept that pay restoration overnight is too tall an ask. Doctors just want a journey to it laid out. It’s win win; 🔸Spread the cost 🔹No pay strikes for the duration

#BrightonPride in the park was the most disorganised, overcrowded, oppressive pride I’ve ever been to. The crowd and queue to get in was dangerous and people could have been crushed. Brighton & Hove Pride huge mistake to get rid of wristbands. Felt like a cash in. Sort it out.
