Reports now put it at 400 acres.The Lolo National Forest Service and the Montana Dept. of Natural Resources & Conservation are currently fighting the fire with two helicopters, planes numerous fire engines as well as boots on the ground. The time has come! I want to share with everyone my time at NBC Montana has come to an end as I continue my career in Brodcast News I’m heading to Northern News Now in Duluth Minnesota to take over as the Weekend Anchor. Nervous, excited, and pretty much everything all at once.

It’s official, 1,200 plus miles, and multiple moves, I’m settled in here in Duluth and finally made my Northern News Now debut. Saying I’m extremely excited would be an understatement. I look forward to becoming apart of the community and having a blast!

DEVELOPING: There is currently a rapidly growing wildfire fire in the Brimson area near Ault Township. Latest reports from the St. Louis County Sheriffs office put it at 160 acres. northernnewsnow.com/2025/05/11/bri…

2/🧵 There is currently nine separate agencies fighting this fire, from the air and ground. The St. Louis Co. Sheriffs office has confirmed several dozen evacuations have taken place with numerous structures affected.

3/🧵 According to the Minnesota Interagency Fire Center the now Camphouse Fire near Brimson, Minnesota has now grown to an estimated 200 acres. With multiple local and state agencies on scene.
