The act of kneeling to a king (προσκύνησις) that Odysseus does to Agamemnon in the trailer was considered quintessentially barbarian or un-Greek, but it goes together with the medieval junk esthetic of the movie.

It just goes to show you, the work speaks for itself. Her continued rise is unstoppable and deserved. And all those people who will try to drag you down do not MATTER!!

have matt damon and christopher nolan even read the source material cause this is not the point at all, Odysseus’ enemies in this journey are NOT the gods???

Odysseus is one of more pious heroes in Greek Mythology. He constantly sacrifices to the Gods and is the favourite of a Goddess. To warp Odysseus' story into this is ridiculous considering Odysseus wouldn't even have made it home without all the Goddesses helping him

What The Odyssey could have looked like if Nolan had an inkling of love and respect for the ancients instead of making another grayslop
