Our route servers are RPKI-enabled since last week. Invalid routes will be dropped. Thanks to Pier Carlo Chiodi and the contributors of the ARouteServer (github.com/pierky/aroutes…) project. It really makes implementing #rpki at an #ixp a walk in the park!

Yay, Akamai Technologies just increased their peering capacity in #dortmund at DO-IX from 10 to 50Gbps. With more peers connecting to DO-IX over the next weeks they are able to serve even more traffic locally. #peering #ruhrgebiet

DO-IX Ops Stay connected with DO-IX Ops

Heute haben wir die Hardware-Lieferung von PCH erhalten. Damit sind bald AS3856 (Internet Routing Analytics), AS42 (Nameserver für ca. 400 cc Top Level Domains) sowie Quad9 in Dortmund verfügbar. Niedrigere Latenz & hohe Verfügbarkeit für alle Peers & deren Kund_innen!

Today we received hardware from PCH to run AS3856 (Internet Routing Analytics) and AS42 (Name server for ~ 400 cc Top Level Domains). Quad9 will be available in Dortmund as well. Lower latency & higher availability for all peers and their customers!

We are so happy PCH joined DO-IX and is now present in Stadt Dortmund. With their TLD name service and Quad9 it will also lower DNS latency for DO-IX members and improve site load times when surfing the web. #peeringfamily
