I never met Sid Hartman, but about a decade ago I was crossing the street downtown and a Cadillac taking a right turn on a red nearly took me out. I knocked on the window and there was Sid looking at me. Downtown pedestrians have 1 less car to dodge, but have lost a legend. RIP
