Cross-Scale Plant/Crop Modelling to: (1) generate new ideas for making crops more productive, and (2) identify knowledge gaps for focusing plant science research. Combine research excellence and real world impact we can achieve so much! Australian Society of Plant Scientists QLD Alliance for Agriculture & Food Innovation

This is the paper I will probably show my grandkids one day. Your "abuelo" worked with all this great people at the ARC centre of excellence for translational photosynthesis ARC CoETP Thank you to Alex Wu for modeling all our ideas! onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/pc…

Thank my speakers for a great @TropAg2022 QLD Alliance for Agriculture & Food Innovation symposium on predictive agriculture for photosynthesis and crop design. Paula Demarco Karen Massel Look forward to more interactions and develop those ideas into projects to advance plant/crop science and yield improvement.

A conference marathon week, but a great way to finish the week. Thank the organisers for the opportunity to present my ideas on GxExM and plant breeding. Had the opportunity to highlight my PhD students crop optimisation and trait dissection work Genevieve Durrington Xia Jin

Q: How can we get more value out of photosynthetic engineering? A: Put advanced crop models to work to understand the full GxExM consequences and predict crop yield outcomes. So privileged to have the opportunity to lead this work with such a great team QLD Alliance for Agriculture & Food Innovation ARC CoETP

Is photosynthesis the silver bullet to improve crop yield? Alex Wu and his team used mathematical modelling and analysis of Australia’s wheat and sorghum crops to find out. Want to know more? ⬇️ bit.ly/3OH4UzV ARC CoETP

Our PhD student Genevieve Durrington passed her PhD confirmation with flying colours. Look forward to learn more about how far we can theoretically push crop yield with her crop optimisation algorithm - CropGen. Thank Australian Research Council, GRDC, QLD Alliance for Agriculture & Food Innovation for supporting this important work.
