I lost one of my best friends this weekend. He was my golfing buddy, freshman basketball coach, asst golf coach, and one of the best men I know. He was the best of us. Impacted 1000’s of lives, including my own 3 boys. Devastated. Love ya Rich. Photo credit to Arianna Grainey.

I’ve attended a lot of funerals lately; said goodbye to many dear loved ones. After another this morning, followed by a visit to my little brother’s grave, I’m thinking more on what John C. Maxwell says, the legs of one’s legacy. Feeling a bit inadequate, maybe a bit of failure.

LEADERS! There will ALWAYS be people who judge schools without knowing anything about schools. It can be annoying but when you CHASE THE SMILES instead of the fly you forget why the fly is there and REMEMBER WHY YOU ARE. #LeadFromWhereYouAre #HackingLeadership #1minwalk2work

During our Heggerty lesson today we used our snowballs to practice phoneme blending. We tapped out the individual phonemes (sounds) then rolled the snowball as we said the word. These #snowballs can be used countless ways in your classroom! #twitter #earlyliteracy

Boom. Clap. Snatch. Today we listened for the middle vowel sounds. I said a word and they had to think quickly what letter spells the middle sound that they heard. Vowel drills can be fun and engaging! #kinder #kindergartenteacher #phonics Institute for Multi-Sensory Education Memorial Elementary #twitter

Hey Teachers! 🔍☁️ Did you know that having students create their own cloud viewers with a cardboard window can spark their creativity and love for nature? It's a fun and engaging activity that encourages them to observe and appreciate the beauty of the sky! *Recycle & Play
