✨Space Crafts✨ We don't just do the Space courses, we also run sessions to get cadets interested in Space. This is a session ran by Cdt Sgt McKenna at 242 Cramlington Sqn where cadets designed their own Mars bases before presenting them to the group!🚀

✨Bronze Space Course✨ Recently, the Wing Space Team ran a Bronze Space Course which saw 19 cadets earn the qualification. Cadets took part in classroom sessions, research and presentations and even a virtual escape room. Well done all!!🚀🚀

✨More Marshmallows✨ Sometimes our visits require us to go all around the Wing, here is us at 1100 (Ashington) Squadron running a Marshmallow challenge. The objective here is to build a tall free-standing structure, but the actual goal is to apply STEM principles.

✨National Space Centre✨ In May, 45 cadets from DNW RAF Air Cadets took to National Space Centre to foster their interest in all things Space! This included many exhibitions and a show at the Sir Patrick Moore Planetarium! What a great day🚀🚀

✨️Arduino Buzzers✨️ Tonight I took a visit to 861 (Wideopen) Sqn and delivered an Arduino session with the new DNW RAF Air Cadets STEM & Space kit! Cadets made and programmed circuits including a frequency modulator using a Potentiometer and Piezo 🙉
