As a Latin Catholic who is now a Byzantine Catholic, I found small accommodations like this (once or twice) during a 40 day NO MEAT lent helpful. I am sure a more holy Christian could do better, but I am too weak to add ashes to my food as did our holy father St. Francis.

This is so wrong on many levels. The fact this it has become normalized in some parts of the country is a sign of of our collapse of reason.

1/ For super hard-core pro-Trumpers, the administration’s policies confirm their view that Donald Trump is nearly messianic. For super hard-core anti-Trumpers, what they hear and see confirms their belief that Trump is the devil incarnate. He is neither messiah nor devil.
