Thurs. AM, it was #music2myears when a student asked me in the hallway, 3 hours before his class, "What are we gonna be learning about today?"

My daily AM hall duty gives me opportunity to see all 5 admins., speak to 1/2 of my colleagues, & catch up w/ many former Ss I wouldn't see otherwise. These "accidental twins" brightened my day this AM. Beth Rhyne alanhagen Jennifer Swartz, EdD

I was surprised that about half of the Ss in my Econ & Personal Finance class have never been inside a bank. Many couldn't name a local commercial bank. I have many fond memories of going to bank w/ my parents as a child & getting lollipops & $2 bills.

And I don't do an EOY countdown on the board bc I feel it gives the impression I'm ready to be finished. #perceptionisreality
