A busy Friday evening for our team. 👮‍♀️ 👮‍♂️ We were out across the patch supporting our regular colleagues with a ton of different incidents: 🍺 - people drunk in charge of vehicles & children 🚘 - theft of a motor vehicle 📄 - breaches of DVPOs 🚔 - trips to custody #volunteers

Back to work after a few days off… and already feeling meh and I’ve not even turned my laptop on yet! But I know: 🗓️ full day of back to back call from start to finish 📧 tons of emails to try and get through (in addition to ones i didn’t to before I left. Urghhhhh. 😭🙄

Little trip up to London for work. 4.5 hour train journey, on a Sunday, made better by first class and wine! 🚂

I get asked loads about why I give up my time to carry out my roles as a Special Constable and honestly it’s times like this… Spending time with fabulous like minded colleagues, supporting our communities and making sure that they are safe. A fab day today at Helston Flora👮‍♂️

Was absolutely not ready to say goodbye to my main man this morning. Not even a full day without him & I’m missing him crazy! All of the ‘firsts’ hurt… first time feeding the other two, looking at them in the garden without him… Absolutely devastated and heartbroken! 💔💔😭😭

When you give up volunteering after such a long time in an organisation you forget the impact you had. Thanks to James McNulty-Ackroyd for bringing back all the reasons why I did it!! Inspiring young people was the one. Changing one persons life makes it all worth while! ❤️

It’s safe to say that CrossCountry Trains are the worst train company for first class service! 5 and half hours in - Trolley has been around twice. Someone, somewhere is making a mint and it’s not being spent on customer service! Awful.
