Confederate memorial in Jonesville, SC. The memorial reads,"THIS MEMORIAL IS FOR MORE THAN 770 FATHERS, SONS, AND HUSBANDS WHO DUITIFULLY DEFENDED SOUTH CAROLINA DURING THE WAR BETWEEN THE STATES. MANY NEVER RETURNED AND LIE IN MASS GRAVES OR UNMARKED PLACES KNOWN ONLY TO GOD."
