Beautiful thread that encapsulates how to move up the manufacturing value chain as a country becomes richer. This is true for most mfg. Solution is not competing on cost but on quality/brand. EU/Japan get this but MAGA for some reason wants $2/hr Sneaker/T Shirt/Iphone screw jobs
