Doing her hair up all pretty~

Slowly rolling out of bed. The call of breakfast is too alluring this morning.

She’s tucked up in a chair, buried into a book

She fell asleep in her chair.

Blowing the reader’s coat over their head.

I’m just being silly, gorgeous

She’s happily cradling her adoptive daughter, appropriately named Alina after their fallen friend, waiting for her wife to return from training.

She looks up with a bright smile, bouncing the little one gently in the pale yellow blanket she was wrapped in. “There’s mummy, sweet girl. I told you she’d be back soon.” She coos.

“She’s been a little bit fussy, but for the most part she’s been perfect as always.” She smiles, leaning in to press a kiss to Tamar’s forehead. “You’re glowing, Angel.”

She giggles softly, smiling as she winks at her. “Maybe a bit of both. Either way it’s gorgeous.”

“Of course.” She smiles softly, carefully holding out the little girl for her to hold. “She’s missed you.”

“She’s not nearly as needy as me.” She laughs, smiling as she stands up to watch them. “But she’s definitely learning.”

She giggles softly, gently looping her arms around Tamar’s middle. “We’re so lucky, don’t you think?”

She smiles in amusement, watching her wife with the baby. This was the most wonderful life she ever could have dreamt of. “Someday we’ll get the hang of it.”

“Mm probably.” She giggles, lazily kissing her shoulder before resting her cheek there. “At least we’ve got help”

She’s sleepily wrapped up in the sheets, her nose burrowed into her wife’s shoulder.

She just got the faintest idea that her wife is scheming for trouble
