2 bathrooms in our new house were seriously outdated and needed a refresh. Kids have been out of town visiting grandparents and come home this weekend. Been working furiously to get them finished before they return. Almost done. Here's a sneak peek of the before and after.

Earlier this year I had a problem. A good problem, but one I needed to solve to accelerate our finances and create more cash flow to eventually support a work optional lifestyle. It wasn’t until I had some time to think that I realized the answer was right in front of me.

This place is going to blow away all expectations. If you're an entrepreneur who loves traveling and exploring new places, you're gonna want to stay at a The Nova Haus property. There will be nothing else like it.

I was skeptical of cold plunges. Recently started doing them after long runs. No soreness. Forgot 1 time. Sore the next day. Then last night I did a 30-min row. Hopped in the pool. Coldest one yet. Took my breath away. Woke up this morning & felt amazing. Now I'm a believer.

Ran a half marathon over the weekend. 1:57:18 Had a good pace going the first 8 miles, then trailed off a bit at the end. Still a solid effort.

Started homeschooling our oldest, who's in 10th grade, back in Aug. Here's a bit about how we're structuring his program and some lessons learned over the last 5 months. 👇

Lifestyle inflation is nearly impossible to avoid. And there's no reason to live like you're broke if you don't need to. There's a balance. Last year we moved across the country, doubling our housing costs in the process. Our mortgage went from <10% of our income to about 18%.

Lately my wife has been baking sourdough everything, she started working on raised garden beds over the weekend, and she sent me this today. Should I be worried?

Help your kids understand purchasing decisions. • Start simple at the grocery store • Involve them in bigger purchases like cars and houses as they become teens • Give them hypothetical scenarios, see how they respond, discuss their reasoning and tradeoffs involved

Compliments are free. You can make someone's day in 15 seconds by telling them you notice and appreciate their hard work. Give more compliments.
