Politics is not supposed to be an everyday trigger. There should not be something new that detrimentally effects my life every. Single. Day.

You not gonna hurt my feelings by calling me broke. I don’t wanna pay $2,000 for a one bedroom apartment. I don’t wanna pay $100 to fill my tank, I don’t wanna pay $600 every two weeks on groceries. Yeah, I’m poor as hell idc lmao.

I really feel like workdays should be 10am–3pm or 9am– 2pm. There’s no reason for people to spend most of their lives at work. Let people go home and have time for their families, partners, friends, and rest. That’s why everyone is so miserable today.

Sleeping for 5-7 hours, Working 8–9 hours a day and then going home to about 2-4 hours to yourself, which includes getting ready for the next day, is not living, to be very honest.

My boss has trouble accepting that work is not my life and when I leave for the day I’m not checking emails/chats until the morning. The work culture at my job is very toxic. They act like 50 hour work weeks are normal.

$4,100 after taxes but yes a livable salary. But it’s a paycheck to paycheck salary. Not enough to save or really prepare for your future
