Freedom to think, read, and explore new ideas is a foundational principle of our country. Only allowing books that support one group’s narrow ideas of freedom is not America. We need more diverse books in schools, not fewer.

Brother, don't I know it! I took off last Thursday and Friday to grade 288 essays. Life sucking! It's dual enrolled AP classes, and the writings are requirements. What stinks is I had to use my days!

23 years for me, and the last 3 years have been unsustainable! We will continue to support one another and try to swing that "pendulum" our way!

I agree! However, I started the year with 40 students in one class. I now have 2 classes of 38 while the others are at 33. I can get 36 desks in rows, but not 38. So groups it is for this year! Pray for me.

Someone left PRADA sunglasses. I asked every day for a couple of weeks. Had other teachers ask. I kept them in my closet for a whole year. When leaving for the summer, I wore them. Kept them for 2 years until they broke. I just can't believe no one claimed them!!!!
