Today I saw my 84- year-old dad cry for the first time after his sweet dog passed away. Heart breaking. And now he has to repeatedly tell my mom their dog is dead because she can’t remember. Dementia is a cruel and unforgiving illness. One day these tears will be wiped away.

This boy- the one who allowed me to experience the love of my Creator; who taught me grace, selflessness, compassion, and joy. He is a graduate. “… Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

Last week I watched my sweet dad cry for the first time in my life when his little dog passed away. Yesterday, I drove my parents 5 hours (one way) to adopt a new baby. The joy on his face is well worth it. Thank you God for helping us find Angelina.
