Yeah that Dave album going platinum in my headphones.

I expected this Dave album to be powerful, but man, I didn’t expect this… No hit-chasing songs, no algorithm friendly songs, and minimal commercial appeal. Dave’s music has always come with a message, but it’s clear he’s at a point now where he could care less about numbers,

I ran back the Dave album twice and I cannot get over how impressive his writing ability is. every bar is purposeful, no lines wasted. storytelling, concepts, biblical references, introspection. this album is not for the clubs or the radio but this is for the soul. wow.
