Started our #pico8 gamedev project with my 10yo yesterday! I’m writing a guide lesson by lesson (1st: display something!). End goal is to make a 2 players « tag game ». It’s simple enough with lots of iterations possible (30s timer, scores, swap roles, obstacles…). ❤️

What is the extent of #pico8? Nothing from the looks of it. This insane WIP by Smartalloc is amazing with an active tactics system in place as well as a capture system similar to that of #pokemon I can't wait to see the finished product of this.

My goal is to do a #pico8 give away each month this year. No follows or likes needed, all you have to do to enter each time is comment what you would like to do with the fantasy console. So be on the look out each month around this time.
