Could watch these actions all day long... - Playing fast, but never in a hurry - Early glove presentation - Great feet get great hops #LTM

Great stuff here from Lux: - Modified drop step to get a comfortable enough big hop to handle. - Unbelievably accurate “thumb down” feed with plenty on it, with unique timing waiting on Edman to reach the bag. #LTM 👊

PLAY-THROUGH FOOTWORK: Great way to start your work on the dirt. - Promotes playing loose and athletic - Footwork pattern gets eyes and glove in position to handle any hop - Great momentum for footwork to 1B Video Credit (coachferber/IG)

Yankee’s Anthony Volpe with a perfectly timed vault steal. He’s one of baseball’s best base runners, certainly the Yankee’s best. Unfortunately after this play he failed to score from 2B with 1 out on a 2B to CF because he was between tagging & going 1/2 way.

Lot of English here forcing Rizzo to have to stay back to secure the GB. Guessing Cole thought with speed of the ball off the bat Rizzo would be able to take it himself. But rule #1: Never assume

GREAT IQ HERE FROM SOTO: With the F8 making the 2nd out and tag play at second base looming, he makes sure to bust it all the way through home plate even though there is no play at the plate to ensure the Yankees score if runner is tagged out at second base. #LTM

Altuve working double play pivots both at SS/2B Position versatility is so beneficial. Being comfortable at multiple positions can keep you on the diamond longer Train at multiple spots because you never know what the game will ask of you   #PicknPivot

DM’s/Reply’s Open 👇 Looking to get some intel from coaches on the in-game offensive conference. - Do you use it? - More geared towards talking to your hitter or throwing off the rhythm of the pitcher? Feel like it is an underutilized rule in todays game.

A lot to like in this video here: • 5-3 SAC • First Baseman does great job anticipating round at 2B after the catch. • Plays a high level of catch to steal an out. • Get some reps incorporated here during your bunt defense period. • Baserunners: DON’T ROUND THE BAG

1B side Bunt for hit: - Body momentum will be going towards 1B in order to get out of the box as well as generate enough on your bunt to get it past the pitcher - LHH MUST be able to keep eyes and barrel connected until contact (as shown in second video in slow motion) #LTM 👊

Favorite parts of Fall WS in college programs: • Players made aware of where they stand in eyes of their coaches/teammates with draft. • Asst. coaches forced into roles they don’t have in the spring. • Best way for coaches to evaluate right before exit meetings.

Great early work here using machine from Heater Sports - Ball material used in this machine promotes pocket awareness/soft hands. - Machine makes it easily accessible to vary between 1 hand/2 hand lanes, along with hop variance. (🎥coachsteinman/IG)

Yes! Fundamentals Matter! BUT… How can common or traditional infield teaching points, despite their good intentions, lead to unintended consequences that hinder player development or creative adaptability?
