The child's right to be breastfed is affirmed by the Quaran, the source of Islamic law and morality. Quranic verse 2:233 recommends a 2 year period of lactation. According to Islam a nursing mother is entitled to receive compensation from the father for nursing the child.

He is Tayseer Abu Ta'imah, the martyr who ascended to Allah while prostrating. He was the Hafiz of Qur'aan, and was one of the members of Al-Qassam battalion! He was also the imam of the Palestine Mosque in Bani Suhaila in Gaza. May Allah accept him and place his soul in Jannah.
