The Delta Boys Golf Team finished 12th out of 20 teams at the Pettisville Invite at Ironwood Golf Course. Leading the way for the Panthers was was Slade “The Renegade” Young with a personal best and 89, Walter Hallett 96, also a personal best, Adam Mattin 99,

The girls golf team was defeated by Archbold last evening at White Pines. Kalleigh was third overall 47, Layla was 7th over all 53, Leigh 71 and Lily 84.

The boys finished second last evening at Ironwood shooting their lowest score of the season so far with a 200. They also got their first league win defeating Evergreen by 4 strokes. Leading the way for the Panthers was Adam 46, Slade 47, Ethan 52, Drew 56, Walter 58 and Tomas 63.

The Delta Boys Golf Team finished tied for 7th with a 407 in the NWOAL. Adam Mattin 83 - tied for 9th overall, Slade “The Nugget Yang” Young 92 - 21st overall, Walter Hallett 115 - 38th, Logan Ringle 121 - 45th, Drew Smith 47th - 136 and Thomas Hernandez 48th - 48th place!

Adam Mattin finished 15th in the individual standings securing his spot as Honorable Mention All NWOAL Honors! Slade Young will also be honored All NWOAL Honorable Mention! Congratulations gentleman! Good luck next week at Heatherdowns GC for sectionals on 9/27.

The Delta Girls Team finished 4th today 446 at the NWOAL CHAMPIONSHIP! Kalleigh Mignin 94 finished in 6th place, Layla Stickley 102 - 10th, Leigh Morris 124 - 24th, Trinity Nation 126 - 25th and Lily Mossing 146 - 35th.

Kalleigh Mignin was 6th in the individual standings earning her spot as 1st Team All NWOAL Honors! She is the first girl in school history to be 1st team! Congratulations!

Senior Layla Stickley finished her career today shooting a 99 (personal best) and ended up 14th over all individually and 7th place in the running to make it to districts as an individual but only top three advanced! She was the first 3 year letter winner in school history!

Trinity Nation almost shot her personal best with a 127. She finished 54th as an individual! Though Trinity doesn’t get much time to practice because she is a duel athlete with volleyball, she has gone a long ways! Nice season, Trinity. We will see you next year about 2 times!🤣

Freshman Lily Mossing shot a 186. After the match she told us she thought the highest score was the winner! My bad I didn’t explain that to you better! Lol. This kid is so funny and has a great attitude. QGlad you helped us have a girls team. Proud of you!

Sophomore Kalleigh Mignin finished the day 5th overall and tied Kinsey Word from Montpelier for 2nd in the individual standings securing their places in the District Tournament at Sycamore Springs in Findlay on Monday, October 3rd at 9:00am. Congratulations!

Kalleigh shot a personal best today in tough weather conditions battling through the wind, rain and chilly conditions! She broke her own school record 94 that she shot last Friday. She now holds the 18 hole record with a 90. She shot a 46 on the front and a 44 on the back.
