1/ Let’s put the House Ways and Means Committee releasing Trump’s tax returns in context. While Spiro Agnew was Richard Nixon’s vice president, he was taking bribes in the White House. Literally. People came to the White House with briefcases full of money for him.

Day Two of the 40th Anniversary Tour included the Cheyenne Mt. Zoo and a tour of the US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. Both Lucy and I are enjoying the walking in the beautiful weather!

Another “High” day on the tour, a through the Loveland Pass (11991, Continental Divide) then through the Berthoud Pass (11306, CD). Shopping in Winter Park (8600), into the west entrance of RMNP the Trail Ridge Road over the Fall River Pass (11795, CD), snowed on, to Estes Park.

Beautiful views day on the Anniversary tour in RMNP. Elk heard in a low meadow, also saw a large bull elk. Mt Cirrus (12797) on the west side, and a great view headed east back to Estes Park. (Elk burger for lunch) America the Beautiful! it is now snowing, 3-5” forecast in mts.

Just a morning update from our hotel at the start of our day. An alpha Bull (bugling away and protective) with his heard, 8 female and 6 young ones. Came down out of weather to get their breakfast! Great way to start our day of shopping in Estes Park and Boulder.

Final touring day before heading home. Shopping in Estes Park and Pearl Street Stroll in Boulder. Saw the Stanley Hotel (“The Shining” w/ Jack Nicholson), and the elk were back with us this afternoon. Overall a great trip and experience!
