No Grand Canyon Baseball pitcher has a has a higher ceiling than Connor Mattison, who led the Lopes in starts (13) and strikeouts (80) as a freshman last season. The fiery 6-foot-2 righthander throws a low-90s heater, but his changeup is the showstopper, generating a 45.7% whiff rate.
.Grand Canyon Baseball first baseman zach yorke will be one of the more intriguing hitters in The Western Athletic Conference in 2025. The junior has posted a .324/.429/.512 slash line and 111 RBIs over the last two seasons and offers a unicorn-like combination of hitting skill and power.
