Today's message- bridging the leadership gap that exists

Jesus instilled 3 principles in the disciples as He visited them after resurrection. This was during the 50 days before pentecost

Leadership is influence. Look behind you - who's following you? If there's no one, you are just taking a walk

Each of us are leaders at home,leaders at work. Leaders in church.

As a leader who wants to increase your influence. You must have a biase for action...simon declared he'll go fishing and the rest joined him

Leaders honestly evaluate their actions.Jesus asked the disciples if they'd caught any fish.The disciples were honest,they hadnt caught fish

All leaders must have some sort of evaluation. As employers do appraisals, so must leaders appraise themselves

Leaders must seek more and effective, better action. An appraisal is done so that there is improvement

As a leader you must persist and do it again. The disciples were not only willing to do it again but were also positioned to do it again

''The Lord will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring. Isaiah 58:11

“ With your unfailing love you lead the people you have redeemed. In your might, you guide them to your sacred home. Exodus 15:13

Zechariah Chapter 4 we get some encouragement. The author argues, “Do not despise small beginnings.” He notes that there will be rejoicing when the Lord’s servant Zerubbabel starts the rebuilding of the temple by working with a plumb line. It is a small start.
