In the modern era, the scarce resources are creativity and knowledge, not land and commodities. Wars of conquest are really just wars of (self) destruction.

Creativity begins to die when we stop letting ourselves make mistakes, be wrong, ask questions, try things out, or otherwise seek to only be correct.

If you’re a procrastinator, play with the idea of making imperfect decisions quickly and then building a feedback loop in to adjust. The point should be to teach yourself how to gain momentum. In the beginning, this will be at the expense of getting it right (perfection).

The most successful companies and organizations are complex hierarchical systems. Groups of people working in alignment, loosely bound by a bigger story.

When working on the onboarding stage of a product, focus on three simple measures: 1) Fun - is it enjoyable to use in the beginning? 2) Flow - does the customer lose track of a sense of self and become immersed? 3) Frustration - does the customer get frustrated by the process.

Most of what we consume mentally/intellectually these days is digital. What does the world look like when AI can create digitally better than any human ever could?
