We at Good Law Project are compiling a list of friends of the Conservative Party who have been parachuted into public jobs (paid or unpaid) without open competition. Please do reply with those you know of. Thanks!

Mary Frances Heaton was declared insane & incarcerated in an asylum for life after calling out a vicar who owed her money. She used embroidery to protest the injustices she suffered. This weekend, a blue plaque was unveiled in Wakefield to mark her life 👏

Today's #GraysonsArtClub inspiration is from War Rugs. I have a small collection of these going back to the 80's. A fascinating if tragic cultural reaction to various invasions of Afghanistan. Often sold to soldiers, sometimes based on propaganda leaflets thrown from planes.

In the #Herefordshire village of Mordiford a young girl Maud found a baby wyvern in the forest & reared it on milk as a pet. When it grew bigger it developed a taste for human flesh but wouldn't hurt Maud. The wyvern was slain but Maud wept for her lost friend #FolkloreThursday
