The last misadventure in getting this over the finish line: On Quest, if you use the mic without first requesting permission it will ask the user for permission, but will then be in such a horribly broken state that you can't even open the system menu or device restart menu 🫠

Traveling with my Vision Pro for the first time right now. Visually going from being on a Peter Pan bus in traffic to being on top of a mountain in Hawaii with a floating widescreen monitor is magical. I love this 😍

This just forever changed how I implement conditional styles, awesome tip Adam Wathan! I just refactored 10 spots in my app to use data or aria attributes instead of clsx. Love that it makes the UX better for folks using screen readers, too.

Every time I see posts like this, about how we're soon going to see "1-person billion dollar startups," or how AI agents will replace entire departments, I think about how profoundly lonely it will be. How much we'll lose by removing so much human connection. Why do we want this?

It’s so funny to me that all the people saying yes in the replies qualify their answers. “Largely” “as the primary” “with neural input” So, no! VR or XR is not replacing your phone. Ever. No matter how good it gets. We’re better off acknowledging that and making something new!

First everyone assumed I was as a billionaire crypto fraudster because I'm an MIT c/o 2014 software engineer. Now people are saying I, too, must be a folk hero vigilante as a handsome Italian American software engineer. Where will the gross stereotypes end?!? /s

This is why I spent a day figuring out how to make the Together avatars dynamically blink right after generating them. Every single beta tester has noticed this subtle detail and loved it. It immediately frames the whole experience as one of quality and attention to detail.

Shout-out to everyone else who hit the gym Monday and proceeded to overdo the weights after not working out for a while, and is waking up today cripplingly sore. Raise your hand if you, too, can barely raise your hand today! 🙃 Nice job, keep it up 👏 #NewYearsResolutions

I am speaking to you from inside the city of Gaza from the heart of the destruction, from among the tents, the rubble, and the daily pain. I’m telling you the truth as it is: people here are dying slowly. There is an urgent need for food, clean water, and medical care. Nothing is
