With our social feeds being a combination of commentary on riots due to systemic racism, and celebration of NASA+SpaceX launching humans into space, I can’t help but think of Gil Scott Heron’s “Whitey on the Moon”. An interesting day to reflect upon. youtu.be/goh2x_G0ct4

The US election is tomorrow.  If you, like me, are tired of horse-race-style reporting, and need to zoom out, I wanna tell you a story. It’s about an ancient force influencing the election. And, as a bonus, it’ll give you an Easter egg to watch for as the returns come in. THREAD

As a victim of this bait & switch where Tesla doubled my price, 3 months after contract, it’s comical that they view Solar Roof as a premium product. It’s less efficient & proprietary. The selling point was being cheaper than traditional roof + panels. But, they destroyed that.

If I have tens (hundreds?) of thousands of Lighthouse reports (web performance data) sitting on S3, any recommendations for a hosted service to process, visualize, and create dashboards? Looking to replace some in-house tooling. #webperf

With KC being selected as a World Cup host, can’t help but think back to the first website I built (designed by Chad from KC.) nearly 20 years ago. Perhaps foolishly, we believed KC could be home to world-class soccer teams & facilities. Today, zero doubt. web.archive.org/web/2018090310…

Watching Numberblocks with my 3y old, and I got a bit more emotional than I should have in the finale of 121 episodes. Such a fitting infinite loop ending for a math show. “Again! Again!” she yelled. So here we go, iteration #2. Conformal cyclic cosmology all the things.
