Want to preach on generosity but not sure how or where to start? We’ve just uploaded 7 sermon plans + video talks to bit.ly/48CCGiv for Sundays in 2025 where the day's reading offers a superb launching point. So why not give these a try, and feedback welcome. Newcastle Diocese (CofE)

Are you looking for a suitable Church wide or small group reflective programme to run during Lent? Consider the Surprised by Generosity Lent Course bit.ly/3u0WPjB. Excellent way of taking time out to consider God’s generosity to us, and our response to him. Newcastle Diocese (CofE)

CofE Churches in @ncldiocese have the opportunity to invite someone to speak confidently and sensitively at Sunday service on generosity. Not sure if it would work in your context? Check out sample videos on bit.ly/48CCGiv and for contact details to check available dates

Great to be at Newburn and Throckley Newcastle Diocese (CofE) this morning, another chance to share some thoughts about responding to God's outstanding generosity to us and our natural response to that. Thanks for warm welcome from both congregations & to Rev Allison for inviting me

What a great day we had yesterday! We were delighted to welcome to Church House, teams from 16 parishes who gathered to spend time exploring the new Cornerstone platform and decide together on individual pathways to work on in small groups over the coming weeks. Grateful to all!

It was great to be part of this. I do recommend Cornerstone platform for Churches in Newcastle Diocese (CofE) who want a better handle on their finances - strengths + vulnerabilities, with the amazing library of guided pathways for developing in those areas that Churches choose.

3 years this weekend since I joined Generous Giving Team Newcastle Diocese (CofE). So quick note of thanks to everyone who’s supported me and to all the inspiring people I’ve met along the way. Hoping some of my input and insights have helped us in responding more deeply to our generous God

Great welcome at St Aidan’s Brunton Pk Newcastle Diocese (CofE) today, sharing thoughts on how generous God is to us, and why, when we understand that, our natural response, like Zacchaeus, is to want to give back. Thanks all for the kind words afterwards, and to Rev Gerard for inviting me.

It was an inspiring 3 days. Jim Sheppard's book "Contagious Generosity" (co-authored with Chris Willard) is reviewed on our website bit.ly/48CCGiv, and well worth a read. Great to be at the conference and part of such an amazing team. Newcastle Diocese (CofE)

Next Sunday 15/6 a great day to preach on generosity - Psalm 8 reading shows we're created in God's image. As God is overwhelmingly generous, it's what we're designed to be too! Sermon plan bit.ly/48CCGivand + pre-recorded sermon youtube.com/watch/v5xtoqY5… Newcastle Diocese (CofE)

Great time @ St Helens Whitley Chapel Newcastle Diocese (CofE) today sharing thoughts on Psalm 8. Being created so closely in the image of God who himself is so generous means we’re designed to be generous too. Thanks to Revd Andrew for the invitation, and for the warm welcome from everyone.

At Beltingham today in the parish of Beltingham with Henshaw Newcastle Diocese (CofE) sharing from Luke 16 based on my own experience of the folly of trying to serve 2 masters. How helpful of Jesus to remind us is simply can’t be done. Great welcome, and thanks again to Revd Steve for invite.
